1.09ct Dusty Purple-Pink, Baguette Cut Sapphire

An intriguing baguette cut, untreated sapphire with a pale, purply/pink with hints of blue.

Origin: Came to me from Thailand, probably Madagascan.

Notes: A beautiful, if difficult to categorise, dusty pink/lilac/grey blue coloured sapphire in a neat baguette cut. The unique colour of this gem is its main talking point, seeming to change between dusty pink and lavender blue-grey under different lighting conditions. She has a small pale inclusion near the centre of the table that isnt very noticeable in hand. There is a tiny internal fracture/inclusion near the cullet. When looked at from underneath, you can see some colour zoning. This gem is so intriguing to look at, one of those stones you turn over and over in your hands, finding new things about it the longer you look at it. Completely natural and untreated.
